This is yet another gorgeous crown that I purchased for theatrical purposes recently. The Gem Queen Crown is quite elegant and stunning. Definitely fit for queenly activities on or off the stage! While I am writing, I also want to say how impressed I was with the very prompt shipping of my purchases. This even during these challenging times and during the recent holidays. The BeElemental Customer Service Person, Jessica, who helped me with a difficulty that came up with one of my orders was stellar and extremely helpful. Excellent email communication with and from her. The difficulty was taken care of in record time. I give this site a 10+. There is no question that I will shop here again and recommend it to anyone who is in the market for very well made tiaras, crowns and decorative and theatrical accessories.
Because I couldn't find a lot in the reviews ahead of my purchase, let me be as detailed as possible.
First off, I had to follow up on the package being shipped as something seemed to have happened where I was never notified of it coming. I got a quick response that it would be sent again, so in total it took about two months to come.
Secondly, the crown itself. It's heavier than I expected and I mean that in a good way; it feels nice and substantial. The four small loops on the inside for pinning the crown to my hair were a nice surprise. It's hard to pin this on when my hair is down but a nice updo, especially moving into an Edwardian style, makes this easy to pin on and it doesn't weigh too much then.
Thirdly, the quality. From a distance it looks lovely and sparkly, though up close you can see a few gems that weren't glued in perfectly. For the cost, I'm still pleased with what I got, especially since my intent is to wear it around the house as I work or lounge, just to mix things up and a touch to amuse people. The "K&K" imprint on the inside amuses me, as I'm not sure if that's meant to be a "kaiserlich und königlich" reference or not, but I'm taking it to be one.
